I hope you’re having a fab Wednesday.  Half way to the weekend!  This morning I headed to the gym for another round of Stage5 Cycling. OMG. I LOVE this class. I hit a heart rate of 176 today…rare for me!!!  I also thought I was going to die, but it was so worth it!  Again, highly recommended if you live in the Boston area!

Last night I decided to put a spin on yesterday’s Pizza Slims and give White Pizza Slims a try.  They came out unbelievable.  You have to love garlic to like these, but if you do make these tonight!!!

Hermove’s White Pizza Slims


1 Trader Joe’s Whole Wheat Slim
1/4 cup Trader Joe’s Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 ounce Goat Cheese
1/2 cup Fresh Sliced Mushrooms
1/2 cup raw broccoli
1 clove crushed garlic
Red Pepper Flakes
Parmesan Cheese


In a small pan on very low heat combine goat cheese and crushed garlic until they combine into a smooth spreadable paste.  Split Slim into 2 halves and set on a piece of foil that can comfortably fit both.  Spread garlic infused goat cheese on each half.  In the same pan lightly saute mushrooms and broccoli.  Do not fully cook them as they will cook the rest of the way in the oven.  Cover each half of the slims with a heaping amount of mushrooms and broccoli.  Next, sprinkle an equal amount of shredded mozzarella cheese on each half.  Season with a sprinkling of red pepper flakes and grated parmesan cheese.

Place foil and pizza slims into toaster oven and toast for 3-5 minutes or until mozzarella begins to brown.  Remove and let cool a bit.  ENJOY!

This Pizza Slim recipe holds approximately 253 calories and 10.5 grams of fat.  It also holds around 18 grams of protein!  If you pair it with one serving of Parmesan Roasted Green Beans and Brussel Sprouts (as pictured above), you will be consuming around 320 calories and 13 grams of fat in total! I also added one tablespoon of marinara for dipping which will add a mere 6.5 calories if you’re up for it!
