Good morning and welcome back to reality! With the holidays on their way out it’s time to get back to the gym.  This morning I headed to Equinox to work out with my trainer.  While we caught up on each others weekend/holiday escapades we managed to sneak in the following strength training work out 🙂


Black (Hard) Exercise Resistance Band
2 7.5 pound dumbbells
18” Plyo Box
Kinesis set to 6
4kg Medicine Ball


10m Self Myofascial Release aka Foam Rolling


20 steps Mini Band (around ankle) Straight Leg Lateral Walk
20 steps Mini Band (around ankle) Bent Knee Lateral Walk

4x (circuit style;no rest between exercises!):

Cross Step Up to Balance on Plyo Box w/ Single Arm Dumbbell Press; 15 reps each side
Squat to Row using Kinesis; 15 reps


Split Squat Jumps; 30 reps
Push ups on Plyo Box;  15 reps


Side Plank w/ Dumbbell Reach; 30 second hold + 10 dips each side
Medicine Ball Torso Twist to Reach;  10 reps each side
